The practical five-door hatchback body style pays dividends when it comes to interior space. Not only does the EV offer up to 30 cubic feet of cargo space once the 60/40 split-folding rear seat goes down, but there’s also ample room for five occupants. The S Plus, SV Plus, and SL Plus trims feature a larger and more powerful 62-kilowatt-hour battery capable of pushing 214 horsepower, along with a longer 226-mile EPA-estimated driving range. Both setups come with a variety of charging options, including a 240-volt Level 2 charger for home and public use and DC fast charging that gives you an 80-percent charge in 45 minutes with the 62-kilowatt-hour battery and 40 minutes with the 40-kilowatt-hour battery.

The impressive NissanConnect infotainment system is just one among the many features that make the 2021 Nissan LEAF such an appealing vehicle to spend time in. A customizable 8-inch touch screen display takes center stage inside the EV’s intuitive interior, giving you a tablet-like interface that you can rearrange and customize to your liking. You’ll also have access to the Nissan Door to Door Navigation feature that lets you set and share GPS directions between the vehicle’s display and your compatible smartphone, so you won’t get lost when you’re in an unfamiliar city or if you stray off the beaten path.
