The 2021 Nissan LEAF is an electric vehicle that ticks all of the boxes when it comes to versatility, features and practicality. Not only does the EV offer up to 30 cubic feet of cargo space once the 60/40 split-folding rear seat goes down, but there’s also ample room for five occupants. Underneath the funky styling is an all-electric drivetrain complete with a standard 40-kilowatt-hour battery. In its S and SV trims, the 2021 Nissan LEAF generates 147 horsepower while delivering an EPA-estimated range of 149 miles. The S Plus, SV Plus, and SL Plus trims feature a larger and more powerful 62-kilowatt-hour battery capable of pushing 214 horsepower, along with a longer 226-mile EPA-estimated driving range. Both setups come with a variety of charging options, including a 240-volt Level 2 charger for home and public use and DC fast charging that gives you an 80-percent charge in 45 minutes with the 62-kilowatt-hour battery and 40 minutes with the 40-kilowatt-hour battery.
